Snarl is a global notification system. Snarl works in a similar way to the balloon-style tooltips that appear from time to time in the system tray, however it doesn't take the keyboard focus away when displaying a notification. Multiple notifications can be displayed at once and you can also change the appearance of the notifications.

To use Snarl, simply launch it from the Start Menu. The first time it runs it will test how quickly blended images can be drawn - this test should take less than 5 seconds on most computers - and then display a notification confirming it started okay. After this Snarl will sleep quietly in the background until an application sends it a notification.

Vanga Rengi Mangaro is a project application that will replace Windows's default file open, save and folder selector dialogs, which are exported functions from comdlg32.dll with Filesystem Dialogs's.

madCodeHook is used to hook the dialog calls system wide. It's much safer and cleaner to use the library's direct interfaces as it uses API hooking techniques to patch every process.

You should always download the newest FilesystemDialogs.dll to have the recent version of it! You should put it to: .../Windows/System32/ (rename the previous one if can't be deleted before).

If you have a problem with an application, try using the default Windows dialog (button in the upper-right corner), if it doesn't work out still, close the application and use the pop-up menu of the tray icon to set exclusion for the particular application, or use the quick: "Filesystem Dialogs in /System32/" (renames - disables - the .dll to "...WindowsSystem32FilesystemDialogs.dll_") start the application, do what you wanted, close the program, restore the file name with this menu option.
